Valentina was born in a small Italian village. After graduating from Riccardo Bauer photography school she moved to New York where she worked as a teacher's assistant at the International Center of Photography. Upon returning to Italy she headed the Photography Department at Giovanni Falcone Design School and studied Cinema at D.A.M.S. University of Literature and Philosophy, Bologna. During this time she developed her personal projects and worked for a variety of commissions. Valentina moved to London in 2006 and has recently finished her MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at London College of Communication. Her obsessions have remained the same: to find a point of entry to another person's life.
